Ah, posting. The life source of a forum. By now, you should've seen that there are rules regarding posting on this forum, and here we'll cover them a little more.
Q: Why is there a minimum length for in-character posts? A: Because we'd like to see quality roleplaying; it's hard to pull of quality story lines with only one or two lines of text for each post.
Q: Why is there a minimum length for out-of-character posts? A: We feel that anything less than five words for out of character is considered spamming. However, make sure your post contributes to the discussion or topic at hand. {{Example - a post simply saying "LOL" or “kk” isn’t worth posting}}.
Q: Why do my IC posts have to be in third person? What if I write in first person? A: Roleplaying on a forum is interactive story telling; as such, there are multiple characters, and writing in first person doesn't make much sense, since there is no one "main character". Also, writing in third person gives the roleplay a much more uniform read.
Q: Seven hundred character / a paragraph per character!? Why? A: Because anything less is cheating to get around the minimum. This way, we prevent people from making five characters so they can post one or two sentences per character and then say that they've met the paragraph requirement.
